April Update

Good news! We had a record number of abstracts, and the Planning Committee is wrapping up the evaluations and sending them to me in the next few days. Together with Melanie Stancampiano, I will then begin the task of distributing the papers between the General Session, Focused Sessions, and CSI (i.e. posters).

It took me a few days to read all 145 submissions, and in general, the level of research and clinical experience is very high. I noticed that a large number of abstracts are dedicated to Ideas & Innovations, so I believe all attendees will be impressed with the collective creativity of the ISHRS members.

Dr. Maxim Chumak is busy with the selection of topics for Focused Sessions. We will have two blocks of four sessions, ranging from update in non-surgical therapeutics to advanced discussions on correction of unfavorable cases. In Dr. Chumak´s words: “Focused sessions offer a valuable opportunity for audiences at all levels, from beginner to advanced, to deepen their understanding of key areas in hair restoration. This year, each topic will be presented by true experts in their fields, with sufficient time allocated for discussions at the end of each session.”

Get ready for the 32nd ISHRS Congress, book your flight to Denver and let´s see a great turnout!

All the best,

Henrique Radwanski, MD |Program Chair
