AIRPORT & GROUND TRANSPORTATION

The conference venue, the Sheraton Denver Downtown, is located 22 miles/35-45 minutes from Denver International Airport (airport code: DEN).

Taxi: Taxis are available from the airport on Level 5, Island 1, outside doors 505, 507 and 511 (Terminal East) and Doors 506, 510 and 512 Terminal West). Click here to learn more.

The taxi airport flat rate is the same for all taxi companies. The fare to and from Denver International Airport and downtown is a flat rate of $66.00 USD + $5.03 USD gate fee + $5.00 USD for any additional drops. Confirm with your taxi driver that they will charge you this flat rate.

Ride Share: Ride share services like Uber and Lyft are available from Denver International Airport (DEN) from Level 5, Island 5.

Airport Train: For $10 each way, travelers can take the airport rail, known as the A Line, from DEN to Denver Union Station and vice versa. The Sheraton Denver Downtown is located one mile from Union Station. The 23-mile ride takes about 37 minutes. Board the train at the DEN Transit Center (look for the signs that say Transit Center instead of airport rail), Level 1, adjacent to the Westin Denver International Airport Hotel. Tickets can be purchased on rail line platforms at the ticket vending machines.

The train from DEN to Denver Union Station runs every 15 minutes between 5:12AM and 7:27PM, and every 30 minutes outside of those hours. Click here to learn more.

ISHRS MEETING REGISTRATION DESK

Bring your government issued photo ID in order to receive your name badge and registration materials. Everyone must personally pick up their own name badge. Surgical assistants will not be allowed to pick up their Congress badge until their employing physician has shown ID and picked up their own Congress badge.

Breakfast is not included in the hotel guest room rate and will not be provided any of the meeting mornings. Please be sure to eat breakfast on your own each day, prior to the start of the meeting.

New This Year! Spouses, partners and guests are invited to gather for a cup of coffee and brief presentation on things to do in Denver on Wednesday/October 16 at 9:00AM in Directors Row F. The spouse/guest does not need to be registered for the congress, and pre-registration for the session is not required. We hope to see your significant other there!

On Friday all attendees are encouraged to wear purple in support of the Women in Hair Restoration Surgery (WISHRS) session.

GALA

This year’s gala will have a Western/Rodeo theme. Attendees are encouraged to wear western-style attire including a Cowboy Tuxedo, western style dresses, cowboy boots, cowboy hat, big belt buckles, denim, etc.

What is a Cowboy Tuxedo?
The ensemble typically includes tuxedo jacket usually black, a formal shirt, a vest which is optional, black necktie which could either be a traditional bow or string tie, formal pants or jeans often black, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat again usually black.

1- YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WITH YOUR SPECIFIC PASSWORD TO THE APP SEPARATELY.

2- GO TO your phone’s app store and download: ISHRS Meetings

If you still have the app on your phone from the 2023 meeting, you do not need to delete and re-install the app.

3- LAUNCH the app. Open the app, and under “Latest Events” click on “ISHRS Oct 17-19, 2024.”

If you are still logged into the 2023 World Congress, click “Back” in the upper left corner until the screen above is visible.

4- ENTER YOUR DETAILS Log in using the email address you used to register for the congress and the password you received via email. Click login.

5- EXPLORE THE APP After going through the initial security and settings screens, you may update your profile and further explore the app.

RECORDED MEETING WEBSITE – Much of the same content in the congress app may be found in the Recorded Meeting Website, which can be accessed via web browser. You will use the same login credentials for the recorded meeting website as the app.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR THE CONGRESS APP

  • Be sure to enable and allow push notifications on the app to receive important reminders throughout the congress.
  • CSI presentations are easily viewed in both the app and on the recorded meeting website. Each CSI presenter was required to present a poster, but also have added a video presentation. Paper posters will also be viewable in Denver.
  • We will use the app throughout the live sessions for Audience Response and Live Questions & Answers, so bring your phone or iPad with a full charge each day.

BUILD YOUR SCHEDULE

Inside the congress app, when you click on schedule you can view the schedule by day, presentation title, or speaker. The “Browse by Day” option will mirror the program guide. You can organize your personal schedule by clicking the star symbol next to the sessions/talks you plan to attend. This will copy that session/talk over to “My Schedule” which you may view for a snapshot of your day. Please note, adding a session in the app is not the same as registering for a course. Tickets for the courses and events which require separate tickets must be purchased at the ISHRS registration desk.

SUBMIT QUESTIONS TO SPEAKERS

Attendees are invited to submit questions to speakers within the congress app. Instructions to do this:

  • Open the session for which you are participating.
  • Tap on “Q+A” in the black bar at the bottom of the page.
  • Tap “Ask Question”
  • Address your question to the speaker you wish to answer the question.
  • Listen to the live or recorded session to see if the speaker addresses your question.
  • Watch for written answers to submitted questions within the app as well.

RECORDED MEETING WEBSITE

The recorded meeting website is live, and holds much of the same information as can be found in the congress app. Following the live meeting in Denver, this website will be populated with the recorded sessions. The same credentials are used to log in to the congress app and recorded meeting website.

HOME: From the homepage, you can use the navigation bar on the left to connect to the schedule, view to the Cases, Studies, and Innovations presentations, download the Final Program Guide and Abstract Book, and more.

VIEW CSI PRESENTATIONS: Beginning today, you can view the Cases, Studies, and Innovations (CSI) Presentations at your leisure. Similar to a poster session, CSI Presentations are selected from submitted abstracts on various topics related to the field of hair restoration surgery. CSI authors were required to create a poster PDF and had the option to create a video to compliment the poster. Click “CSI Presentations ” from the navigation bar and you can browse the presentations by number, title or presenter.

RESOURCES & DOWNLOADS: From this page you may find the final program guide, abstract book, attendee list, general membership business meeting agenda, and online buyers guide.

EXHIBITORS: View a list of exhibiting companies from the live meeting in Denver.

WATCH RECORDED CONTENT: Beginning November 5, you will be able to view on-demand content including General Sessions, Focused Sessions, half-day course on Afro Hair Restoration, and Surgical Assistants Program by clicking on the session within the schedule.

Please note: there will not be real-time streaming or interaction between the in-person congress attendees and virtual attendees. Rather, the interaction of those who registered for Recorded Meeting Only access is intended to occur during the 2025 CME Webinar series. All registered physician attendees receive complimentary registration to the 2025 CME Webinar series.

IMPORTANT DATES

October 8, 2024: The recorded meeting website and mobile app are open. Attendees may begin viewing CSI presentations, download the final program guide, build their individual profiles, and more.

November 5, 2024: The recorded sessions will be available for on-demand viewing in both the app and recorded meeting website. This will include 10 General Sessions, 8 Focused Sessions, the half-day course on Afro Hair Restoration, and the Surgical Assistants Program recorded in Denver.

All physician attendees will be able to view all recorded sessions.

Non-physician attendees will be able to view the Surgical Assistants Program recordings.

February 5, 2025: The recorded meeting website will close.
