The Scientific Program for the 32nd World Congress is taking shape. Many excellent papers have been chosen and allocated over the three days of the Meeting. They reflect both the geographical and generational distribution of the Society. In between, we will have keynote speakers and specific panels, plus a few audience-response queries. It’s a hard task to fit all these presentations in a tight schedule. I have begged Melanie Stancampiano, my faithful coordinator (and the very best organizer), for an extra day, to no avail!
I would like to highlight the Live Surgery Workshop, which will be chaired by Dr. Jim Harris, and Co-chaired by Dr. Sara Wasserbauer. This will occur two days before the Congress, on Tuesday, October 15 in Dr. Harris´s beautiful clinic, with an astounding view of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. In Jim´s words: “The Workshop is designed to complement the educational offerings of the general meeting, providing participants with the unique opportunity to observe world-renowned experts demonstrating state-of-the-art techniques and instrumentation.”
A variety of cases will be performed, including scalp, beard and eyebrows, using different equipment, allowing attendees – in the space of a single day – to evaluate the many ways to approach hair restoration.
If you are a beginner in hair transplantation, or an experienced surgeon, I am sure this Live Surgery Workshop will expand your knowledge of hair restoration.
All the best,
Henrique Radwanski, MD, Program Chair
